What better way to take in the breathtaking views of the historical and picturesque coastal village of Stanley than from a leisurely chairlift ride to the top of the intriguing local attraction known as The Nut!
The core of an extinct volcano, this fascinating geological formation stands at 152 metres and towers above Stanley, providing stunning 360 degree views of the township, Bass Straight, and the Rocky Cape National Park .
The Nut Chairlift was designed and manufactured in Austria, to maximum safety and comfort standards. It traverses a distance of 250 meters, rising 95 meters. After a leisurely five minute ride to the top of The Nut, you can explore the plateau, soak up the incredible views and take advantage of the superb photographic opportunities.
